We think that standards within public bodies - particularly local & national government - are often low, leading to poor service and wasted resources. Borough, District and county councils often do a poor job whilst forcing us to pay more through our council tax.

We believe we can address this problem by exercising our rights to Open Government and scrutinising the workings of public bodies.
