Citizens

We recognise that society is the people within it - you and me. So a better society will need better people.

There are powerful opportunities for improving our society through better parenting and better education. As adult citizens we try to grow ourselves, and to increase our contribution to society.

We want to nuture increased involvement of the general public in the running of society - whether it be dredging canals, cleaning the town bridge, standing for local election, sitting on a school board of governors, or raising money for a worthy cause.

This is a huge challenge, but with 55 million of us, we can afford to miss a few and still have a hugely positive impact.
